Adrian DitcherGeneral Manager Corporate Social Responsibility and Quality TNT Australia With almost 30 years' experience in OH&S management, Adrian joined TNT eight years ago as the national OH&S manager, and, as the company has developed and broadened its sustainability/social responsibility policies, he has seen his role expand to also include dangerous goods compliance, environment, quality management and social accountability as well as his responsibilities extending into New Zealand and Fiji. Under Adrian's guidance, the Australian Business Unit (Australia, New Zealand and Fiji) over recent years has achieved certification to the Australian and International Standards for OH&S, Environment and Quality to supplement the company's certification as an Investor in People. Adrian commenced his working career as an electrical engineer with BHP (iron and steel division) before joining the company's safety department. He gained further tertiary qualifications in HR and OH&S. As well as the steel and transport industries, Adrian has experience in the construction, grain handling, and poultry farming/processing industries, which included both NSW and Australian government positions. |
